As a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, we have partnered with the world class ProCoach software platform to be able to provide the industry’s leading nutrition & lifestyle coaching curriculum. By using the software it enables us to offer a central hub to track progress, store images and deliver educational content without the need for multiple document hand outs. Another benefit of basing the programme online means no more having to travel to the studio for check ins and reviews as this can be done via video call saving you time to concentrate on what matters, improving your health. The curriculum is based on the latest scientific research, practice-based change techniques, our own clients’ transformative results, and feedback. The full programme lasts for 12 months and we firmly believe once you get started your going to want to go the whole way.

As a client on the programme you will radically improve your nutrition, lifestyle, and health by what really should be described as an education in nutrition complete with daily short lessons, habits, check-ins, and more. This practice-based approach will help you gradually, and permanently, transform the way you eat, move, and live.

As a client you will:

·      Have a dedicated coach on hand to coach you through the programme.

·      Be delivered nutritional habits, lessons, and assignments daily. The amount you will learn is amazing in itself.

If you don't offer meal plans, what do you offer?

We use practice-based coaching, a method rooted in change psychology and built on the latest science of what actually helps people develop new skills and make change in their lives. So rather than telling you what to eat for breakfast and when to eat it, we help you build the skills (and daily habits) required to eat well, every day, no matter what life throws at you. We also help you discover what’s right for you, in the context of your own unique lives. That’s why our programmes results are so sustainable.


Can you explain practice-based coaching a little more?

We believe that people can only reliably get to their goals when they do two things:

1.     Break down what they want to do into specific aptitudes (skills).

2.     Build those aptitudes through strategic daily habits (practices).


The formula pretty much looks like this:

  • Practice daily to build skills

  • Build skills to achieve goals.

In the end, growth and development comes through daily practices and supporting experiences.


For an example of how this works:


Goal: Eat better consistently.

Let’s say you want to lose weight. You know that to lose weight you’ll need to eat better consistently. That’s your real goal: Eat better consistently. But you don’t have all the skills to do it just yet. So you have to break it down into…

Skill: Hunger and appetite awareness.

Which skills are required to eat better consistently? We’ve identified hunger / appetite awareness as the most important initial skill for making progress. But that’s not quite a concrete thing you can do. So you have to break it down into…

Practices: Eat slowly and stop eating when satisfied.

We use two daily practices to build the skill of hunger and appetite awareness.

Practice 1: Eat slowly.

Practice 2: Eat until satisfied, not stuffed.

This takes a month—two weeks for you to learn, practice, and repeat each habit. At the end of a month, you have two very important habits that can now be used for the rest of your life. You’ve learned it by doing it.

Not surprisingly, you will usually lose weight during this time. Because, of course, you are learning to eat a bit less and adjust your intake according to body signals. Even better, you have built two new habits that you can use for the rest of your lives, no matter what else happens.

In the programme you will be delivered weekly habits (like the two above), supported by daily lessons and assignments, to help you not only eat better now—but also build the skills necessary to eat better for life.


Why introduce habits one by one?

Because real progress comes not from “overhauling,” but from building transferable skills. Systematically.


What's wrong with meal plans?

From multiple studies we have learned meal plans and diets aren’t useful or sustainable for the vast majority of clients. Clients often feel like they’re either “on” them or “off” them. The black-and-white nature of a meal plan suggests that people have to eat perfectly at each meal (to match what’s listed in the plan)—or they’ve failed. It’s psychologically unpalatable and unsustainable.

Even more, meal plans are too inflexible. They don’t work with the reality of people’s busy lives. Work meetings, children’s programmes, meals out, dogs that need walking, cars that break down, family members that get ill, etc. Meal plans take none of these into account.

Finally, meal plans assume people already have the skills to follow them. But that’s simply not true. Most people who aren’t eating healthy today don’t have the basics skills.

Our Apex programme gives you full access to the procoach nutrition programme but also includes tailor made fitness programming for the duration of the 12 month period. Being tailored and having the opportunity to work together for 12 months enables us to progress your training as your fitness improves.

With our training designed specifically to you it's suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Clients come to us for many reasons, from losing weight after pregnancy to just generally wanting to keep fit and healthy. We gather all this information in our initial consultation before we design your tailored plan, meaning we get the full potential out of each and every client. As well as receiving our proven nutrition programme you will receive tailored fitness programmes to compliment your nutrition creating the complete health and fitness transformation programme. In 12 months time you will be looking at a different person in the mirror.

  • After your initial consultation and action report it's time to book in further sessions as you require. We offer package deals bringing down the price of each consultation.
